A former Williston area school teacher and bus driver accused of molesting three children has pleaded not guilty to felony charges. Sixty-eight-year-old Everett Gilbert faces two counts of continuous sexual abuse of a child and several counts of gross sexual imposition. Authorities say the charges stem from separate alleged incidents reported by three girls of grade school age two who were children on Gilbert's bus routes and one who was a violin student. The abuse is alleged to have occurred between the fall of 2004 and the fall of 2007. Gilbert could face a life prison sentence if he's convicted in a jury trial. He remains in custody. Northwest District Judge David Nelson says he'll decide later whether to combine the cases into a single trial.  « Less
