Mandan police say an 11-year-old girl found a man's body on Christmas Day. Deputy chief Paul Leingang says the girl found 44-year-old James Helmenstein dead just south of the former Morton County jail in northwest Mandan. He was found about a block away from his house. Leingang says the girl's parents were looking at property for sale in the area when she discovered the body late yesterday afternoon. Police say an autopsy is being done but they don't believe foul play was involved.  « Less
