The first year in the lives of Abby and Belle Carlsen was marked by extraordinary events. The second year has been noteworthy only for its normalcy. The Fargo twins were born conjoined, and captured the attention of thousands when they were separated by doctors in May 2006. These days, newly pierced ears are as exciting as it gets for the Carlsen twins. They turn 2 on Thursday.
