The Minot State men's Basketball team will get a chance to play up a couple of division's when they travel to Fargo tomorrow night to take on NCAA division one NDSU. The game will be the 12th meeting between the two schools, but the first since 2001. The Bison are 0-2 on the year after losses to Florida and Rutgers over the weekend while the Beavers are 2-3. The Beavers know they'll have their work cut out against a solid Bison team. Mike Hultz, MSU men's basketball coach:This is going to be the best team we've played since I've been at Minot State, I've looked on the schedule from last year and the three NAIA's or D2's with Mary, Valley City, and Mayville, their closest game was 38 and they return 4 starters off that team so we're going to be challenged in a big way but it's kind of a free roll for us, we get to go down there, it's an exhibition game for us, it doesn't count, we get a nice check to pay for our new uniforms and if we happen to beat them, great for us. They are big, strong, athletic guys, so we're probably going to have to play some zone, against them and hope they miss a few times but all of their perimeter guys are are 40 percent 3-point shooters, so it's going to be tough. Some of us may have had the chance to be a division one player, so this is a great challenege to see exactly where we are at as a team and individuals as well.
