While teachers from across the state gather in Minot for a couple of days, hundreds of students from all over western North Daktoa are getting together here too. The Bismarck Diocese High School Youth Rally is going on all day at Bishop Ryan High School. About 400 students are attending the event, which began early this morning and runs until about midnight. The rally has is titled, Keep it Right, using a construction theme to name the various sessionsfor example, the session on dating is titled Proceed With Caution. The event is sponsored by the Catholic Church, but it's really organized and run by the students. (Nick Schmitz, Organizing Committee) The workshop should be interesting and the presenters should be good. We also have music and a Dance at the end and our keynote speaker does teh concert before the dance also. (Anthony Anderson, Organizing Committee) My favorite part is getting out and meeting all of those new people you've never talked to before and making a lot of new friends. (Courtney Klein, Organizing Committee) I enjoy meeting all of the people that want to live their life like I do. More faith wise that all of the peer pressure things that are out there. The High School Youth Rally is held each year at different towns in western North Dakota.  « Less
