The top ranked Minot Ryan Lions football team travels to Fort Yates tomorrow night for a AA matchup with the Standing Rock Warriors. The Lions are 4-0 on the season following last week's 22-0 win over Hazen while Standing Rock comes in at 1-3. The Lions aren't about to look by Standing Rock who brings with them speed in the backfield. Bryan Kramer, Ryan football coach:We gotta keep improving Mike from week to week regardless of who we're playing. We have a long way to go before the end of the season but Standing Rock has some athletes that can give you some trouble. They got some real shifty, speedy kids in the backfield. They're big up front and they do some unconventional things that are gonna force us to have to really play assignment football. Brody Awalt, senior:They don't look like too great of a team but you know we can come in and not play so great either. We have our ups and down games so hopefully we come in playing like we should and like we can and I don't know, have a good game. Ben Kramer, junior:I think if we just stick to our assignments up front, I think our quarterback and running backs have a good game if we just do our assignments up front.
