Representatives of 190 countries are meeting in Montreal for talks aimed at combating global warming and restoring the ozone layer. The talks are part of a UN-sponsored conference marking last Sunday's 20th anniversary of the Montreal Protocol, an international treaty focused on protecting the ozone layer from damaging chemicals -- and one of the most successful international responses to global warming thus far.
