STANDOFF IN SANTA FE ENDS WITH A PEACEFUL RESOLUTION-- AND RESIDENTS ARE GLAD THEY CAN GET SOME PEACE AND QUIET. A MAN CLAIMING HE HAD A BOMB STRAPPED TO HIS BODY -- CAMPED OUT AT THE C-Y-F-D OFFICES. BUT AS VALERIE CASTRO REPORTS-- POLICE STILL DON'T KNOW WHAT SET THE WHOLE EPISODE OFF. AN ALL NIGHT SWAT STAND-OFF THAT LASTED THROUGH THE MORNING ENDED PEACEFULLY BUT NOT BEFORE HOMES AND BUSINESSES NEAR FIFTH STREET AND SAINT MICHAEL'S DRIVE WERE EVACUATED. "the police officer came by and knocked on the door and says we need to evacuate the neighborhood. The situation has been upgraded to a swat situation and we were in the kill zone." RESIDENTS HEARD THE COMMOTION AS POLICE TRIED TO NEGOTIATE WITH 52-YEAR OLD DOUGLAS GIBSON. POLICE SAY SINCE 6 THURSDAY NIGHT, HE WAS HOLED UP IN A VAN OUTSIDE THE C-Y-F-D BUILDING SAYING HE HAD A BOMB AND A GUN. "so about 1 o'clock this morning we woke up, they were talking to the guy.
