An unusual kind of bomb threat at Bismarck's Loaf N Jug this morning... Police say the threat came in at 9:12 a.m. The caller told an employee if anyone leaves the store they will be shot. An employee went outside and saw someone leaving the area. Police say that made the bomb threat even more suspicious. Officers searched a large area around the store for a suspect with a gun and found nothing. They also checked over the building. Police say they found no bomb or shooter in the area and say the threat is unfounded. Bismarck Police closed off Rosser and 26th Street along with about a block distance around the Loaf N Jug. (Sgt. Steve Kilde / Bismarck Police Department) It's our responsiblity to keep everyone safe. Until had opportunity to clear area and clear tree row where individual seen at. It was in the best interest everyones safety we did stop traffic to make sure no one went into that potential danger area. Police had the area cleared after about 90 minutes.
