The world's most famous bike race has been dealt a fatally potential blow this week with two major doping scandals in as many days. Yellow jersey leader Michael Rasmussen was kicked out by his own Rabobank team, it was revealed on Wednesday. The 33-year-old Dane had missed four random dope tests in the past 18 months and lied about his training whereabouts in June. A day earlier the Astana team of Alexandre Vinokourov was thrown out of the race after its leader, a pre-race favorite, testing positive for blood doping. Fans of the annual event speak to AFPTV about their deception and the fears that the Tour de France may not be able to withstand the seemingly unending scandal. Images filmed July 26, 2007. « Less
