Funnel clouds were reported in the Bismarck-Mandan area as a dangerous storm system blew its way through. This image of what Meteorologist Hutch Johnson believes is a funnel cloud Northwest of Bismarck was captured on our skycam about nine last night. No confirmation yet on whether it touched ground, but its powerful winds and hail were no doubt felt. The Steele County sheriff's department reported two to three inches of rain early this morning, causing some local flooding. To the East, winds clocked in at 64-miles per hour in Wahpeton. Trees were snapped and uprooted in Breckenridge-Minnesota... cars were blow over. Residents lost power and crews are still cleaning up debris. « Less
