Two North Dakota players were selected in the Major League Baseball draft today. Both are from the Minot area. eremy Horst, a pitcher from Des Lacs-Burlington was selected by the Cincinnati Reds in the 21st round as the 649th pick overall. Horst is attending Armstrong Atlantic University. Minot's Charlie Shirek, a pitcher at the University of Nebraska was picked by the Chicago White Sox in the 23rd round as the 719th pick overall.
