The shooting death of a 7-year-old boy in East Chicago, Ind., on Monday evening wasn't politically motivated, but it could have been gang related police said Tuesday. Angel Silvas is the son of 24-year-old Michael Silvas Jr., an East Chicago candidate for City Council in the 1st District, and was fatally shot the night before a primary election.
