Two local organizations are counting the homeless in Lucas County over the next few days. Last year there were about 11-hundred homeless people living in Lucas County. The Toledo Area Alliance to End Homelessness and the Toledo Lucas County Homelessness Board began counting those living on the streets at the United Way downtown Toledo on Wednesday. The homeless at shelters, transitional housing facilities and food pantries will also be counted by filling out surveys.  « Less
