Nov. 28 (Bloomberg) -- Billionaire investor Carl Icahn offered to acquire steel-scrap recycler Commercial Metals Co. for about $1.73 billion. Icahn Enterprises LP is offering $15 a share, without any financing or due diligence conditions, Icahn said today in a letter to CMC directors.
