March 4 (Bloomberg) -- Manchester United Chief Executive Officer David Gill was forced to deny the club is for sale after a report that a group of wealthy supporters may bid for the 18-time English champion. The Financial Times reported yesterday the potential bid group, known as the Red Knights, includes Goldman Sachs Group Inc. Chief Economist Jim O’Neill, Marshall Wace LLP founder Paul Marshall, and Mark Rawlinson, a lawyer at London-based Freshfields. « Less
