Feb. 5 (Bloomberg) -- Tony Crescenzi, a strategist at Pacific Investment Management Co., talks with Bloomberg's Jon Erlichman about the U.S. employment report for January released today and its implication for the bond market. The unemployment rate unexpectedly declined in January to 9.7 percent, the lowest level since August. Employment fell by 20,000 last month, reflecting a plunge in construction jobs and a drop in state and local government hiring, according to the Labor Department.
