Three children under the age of 11 died Sunday after falling through ice on the Sandusky River in Rice Township outside the city of Fremont. The boys - Da'Vontae Everett, age 8, Jay'Den Everett, age 7, and Rafael Villanueva, age 10, are all from Fremont. The boys were last seen playing Sunday afternoon outside a home in Rice Township a few blocks from the river. Sandusky County Sheriff deputies received a report that the children had fallen through the ice at around 1:23 p.m. on Sunday. Calls to 9-1-1 stated the kids were playing on the ice when it gave way and they fell into the water.  « Less
