Jan. 15 (Bloomberg) -- Production in the U.S. rose in December for the sixth consecutive month, propelled by a jump in utility use as temperatures turned unseasonably cold. Output at factories, mines and utilities climbed 0.6 percent for a second month, matching the median forecast of economists surveyed by Bloomberg News. Bloomberg's Betty Liu reports.
