Toledo Mayor Carty Finkbeiner dedicated a stretch of 13th Street as Ruth Arden Way Monday afternoon. Arden, who died in December, was a lifelong Toledo resident and she dedicated her life to serving the community, the mayor said. Arden worked for more than 30 years at St. Paul's Community Center and served for several years as the executive director. She also worked with the United Methodist Church's Outreach Services and was a charter member of the Coalition for Housing and Homeless in Ohio.  « Less
