After plenty of hard work and countless hours of volunteering, Children's Wonderland will finally open. Lucas County Commissioner Ben Konop says this holiday display will open to the public Friday, Dec. 11, at the Erie Street Market in Downtown Toledo. This is different from past years, when Children's Wonderland was set up at the Lucas County Rec Center, but because the county could not come up with the cash to put on Wonderland, the 2009 display was created by volunteers and donations. Admission is $3 with a canned food donation.  « Less
