Nov. 24 (Bloomberg) -- James Chessen, chief economist at the American Bankers Association, talks with Bloomberg’s Peter Cook and Deirdre Bolton about the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp.'s report on banks and the outlook for the U.S banking industry. The FDIC had 552 banks with $345.9 billion in assets on its confidential problem list in the third quarter, a 33 percent increase from 416 lenders with $299.8 billion in assets at the end of the previous quarter.
