A man is recovering after being stabbed by his girlfriend over the weekend. The thirty year old victim was trying to leave a home at 703 6th Ave SE apartment number C5 in Mandan. His girlfriend, twenty-five year old Paige LaFountaine came out of the house with a kitchen knife and stabbed the man. Police say the man was stabbed in the upper abdomen - lower chest area. He was taken to an area hospital and went through emergency surgery. LaFountaine has been charged in Morton County Court with aggravated assault.  « Less
