Dakota College at Bottineau is still transitioning into its new name, but school representatives want to assure the public that certain aspects about the school will stay the same. The name officially changed on August 1st of this year, but both Minot State and Dakota College at Bottineau celebrated their continued partnership with a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house for Dakota College this morning at MSU. Representatives from both schools say they want to emphasize that the new name doesn't change the college's affiliation with Minot State; rather, they say the relationship continues to grow stronger every month. It expands what we can do, it brings career and technical education programs to the Minot area, and our folks in Bottineau like the relationship with Minot and want to stick with it."
