A pair of nikes connects a pair of thieves to nearly 30 home burglaries. Tonight we're getting our first look at the suspects deputies say were caught on surveillance video at an albuquerque store-- shopping with a stolen credit card. Kayla Anderson is here with a story you'll see only on four. Investigators are after two men... And new surveillance video and their shoes could help bernalillo county deputies track them down. "we don't know what their next step is." But a nike shoe-- may be enough to nab these two men. "we believe that these subjects are responsible for burglary in at least 26 residents because of their mode of entry." Deputies have seen the same nike shoe print at nearly 30 homes-- where the suspects kicked in the door. "these offenders are going after high dollar, high end televisions, computer systems, laptops and gold." The suspects are also stealing guns. Their most recent victim was actually home-- when they barged in. "they ran off, but not before taking her purse and wallet, with the credit cards and things like that." Deputies got their break this week-- when that homeowner said her stolen credit card was used at burlington coat factory in northeast albuquerque. The thieves were never asked for an i-d-- but they were caught on surveillance video leaving the store. "we believe it's very important that these subjects, these two offenders are located, to prevent any further violent offenses." Tammy bredy says she saw someone suspicious casing-- her neighborhood a couple weeks ago. "it makes me want to do a couple more security measures around the house." She hopes the suspects are caught soon. "it's very nice out here and one of the reasons people live out here is for the safety facto" The two men are both hispanic. One is about 5 foot 9-- the second is about 6 feet tall. If you recognize them-- call deputies right away at 314-0038.  « Less
