a 75-year-old roswell woman is heartbroken after crooks stole r purse .... which had thousands of dollars in it for her husband's funeral. joe bartels sat down with the woman... and her daughter. he's live in roswell tonight... joe? the roswell family was inside a funeral home last week saying goodbye to a grandfather and husband. outside-- crooks smashed a car window and stole a lot more than just a purse... "it was just a hopeless feeling. it was just like it wasn't real, but i knew that it was." mary dickinson anher husband robert were married for sixty years. he died earlier this month. but while dickinson and her family were inside the funeral home saying goodbye one last time ... a burglary was taking place in the parking lot. "when we left close to 7:30, i noticed when i was walking back to my car, there was some glass on the ground and when i opened the door the glass shattered." dickinson's purse, with 48 hundred dollars inside... was stolen from her daughter's car. she had been saving up the money to pay for funeral expenses. i knew it was gone. and what hurts so much was all the things in my purse that i had to have." dickinson also had her husband's old drivers license and other important documents stored inside-- her daughter says they forgive whoever stole the purse--- they just want to get back the things they can't replace. "they have no use for this stuff. it's to no use to them. it could be in a dumpster some where and we may never get it back, but if you have it, please return it. there were no security cameras in the area to catch the crooks. if you have any information about the case-- please call roswell police.  « Less
