Nov. 19 (Bloomberg) -- Tom Eagan, an analyst at Collins Stewart LLC, talks with Bloomberg's Carol Massar and Matt Miller about the possibility of a takeover of DirecTV Group Inc. by a phone company. DirecTV Chairman John Malone won’t rule out a takeover by AT&T Inc. or Verizon Communications Inc., saying they will likely have close ties to his company as they develop packages of phone and television service.
