the minute thumbnail 10:26 pm aggies came back hitting long range shots of their own in the second half.. aggies actually took the lead in the second half.. but the lobos return the favor and hang on for the win.. the lobos left las cruces with a win 97-87.. let's take a look at the box score.. roman martinez was one rebound away from a double double.. he chipped in 24 points.. phillip mcdonald had a career high 27 points and was perfect from the free throw line the aggies opened this game playing zone.. but it didn't take long to see the lobos are zone busters... the lobos shot 58 percent from three point land which forced the aggies to spread out their zone .. the lobos not only ... force them to get out of their comfort zone .. the albuquerque thunderbirds are just a couple weeks away from the season opener the friday after thanksgiving.  « Less
