Northampton's Mayor Mary Clare Higgins is supporting a new resolution to encourage businesses to pay employees a living wage. They are defining a living wage as enough to pay for decent housing, transportation, food, and health care. Here in Northampton, they say someone would have to make at least $11.90 to do that.  « Less
