A renovation project over 2 years in the making is moving forward, and actually, ahead of schedule. Minot State University's Swain Hall has undergone many changes over the past few months, including the pouring of foundation, framework construction on the south addition, and various interior renovations. Once completed, the building will provide a state-of-the-art learning experience for students in programs like corporate fitness, athletic training, science, and education. The building's contractor, Mattson Construction, plans to turn the 13.2 million dollar facility over to the college by August of 2010. MSU's Director of Facilities, Roger Kluck, says the project is currently around 1 million dollars under budget, and they hope to use those remaining funds for future MSU construction projects. « Less
