Nov. 17 (Bloomberg) -- Alan Blinder, a former Fed vice chairman who is now an economics professor at Princeton University, talked with Bloomberg's Carol Massar and Matt Miller about ways to stimulate job growth in the U.S. Blinder said he supports a new-jobs tax credit and direct public-service employment programs that would encourage hiring in the U.S. “If you dangle enough money out there in front of businesses, they will come and start employing more workers,” Blinder said.
