Nov. 17 (Bloomberg) -- Timothy Mayopoulos, who was fired as general counsel at Bank of America Corp. in 2008, will testify today before the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. The committee is investigating how the lender’s rescue of Merrill Lynch & Co. led to a second government bailout for Bank of America, the biggest U.S. lender. Bloomberg's Lizzie O'Leary reports.
