Police say one man has stolen nearly $3,000 worth of beer right in front of store employees, but they weren't able to stop him. Albuquerque police say 26-year-old Carlos Leyba visited the same Circle K about five days a week for the past month, each time picking up three to four 30-can cases, and walking out the door without paying. Employees told police that store policy prevents them from following a thief outside to get a license plate number. A customer finally provided one to store managers, and police tracked down Leyba. « Less
