Nov. 12 (Bloomberg) -- Bloomberg's Jon Erlichman reports on the effects of the repeal of the Depression-era Glass-Steagall Act, which split investment banking from lending and deposit-taking. The repeal, signed by President Bill Clinton a decade ago today, allowed the creation of Citigroup Inc., the financial colossus now propped up by $45 billion in taxpayer rescue funds.
