More than a million New Yorkers gave the New York Yankees, champions of baseball for the 27th time, a jubilant reception in Lower Manhattan. The festivities included a parade with floats, a ceremony with the keys to the city and speeches from the mayor, players, and team honchos, plus even a musical nod from Jay-Z. The entertainer serenaded the players and the crowd with his Yankee anthem "Empire State of Mind."  « Less
