After brazen attacks on some of the area's homeless, Toledo's city council is pushing for a stronger law. "It amazes me when we started to look into this, that something like this doesn't already exist," said Councilman Tom Waniewski. The request was made by Columbus lawmakers Tuesday evening and Toledo city council members want the state to declare attacks on the homeless as hate crimes. « Less
