Oct. 21 (Bloomberg) -- John Lechleiter, chief executive officer of Eli Lilly & Co., talks with Bloomberg's Deirdre Bolton about the company's third-quarter profit and product pipeline. Lilly had net income of $941.8 million, or 86 cents a share, compared with a loss of $465.6 million, or 43 cents, a year earlier. Lechleiter also discusses partnership strategy.
