Student teams competing in the 2009 Solar Decathlon on the National Mall in Washington have created 20 innovative solar homes. In addition to running completely off the sun, these abodes boast other green items like recycled glass counter tops and energy efficient appliances. Team members say they're also trying to convince consumers that it's feasible to put some of these environmentally friendly features in their homes. « Less
