Backers of a move to end North Dakota's pharmacy ownership law have begun an effort to change the law. An initiative was submitted to Secretary of State Al Jaeger today, seeking to repeal the law that says a pharmacist must be a majority owner of any pharmacy in the state. Joeger will review the wording of the petition and could approve it for circulation this month. Supporters of the change need almost 13-thousand signatures to get the issue on a statewide ballot next year. A bill to repeal the current law was defeated in the North Dakota House during the last legislative session. « Less
