A Cape Girardeau police officer got more than he bargained for when he answered a shots fired call. Video clearly shows a disturbance erupting after a police officer handcuffs a suspect. An officer tries to pull a woman away from the crowd when another person approaches the officer. At that time the officer pushes her away. She then returns and appears to be trying to punch the officer before being pulled away by someone else in the crowd. Chief Carl Kinnison says this type of incident between officers and residents happens about half a dozen times a year, but it's rarely caught on camera.  « Less
