The Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) is the video game industry's internal content cop. The board reviews video games and issues ratings based on the content so that parents can get a better idea of what their kids are playing. Video game retailers also use the ratings to control who buys the games. Many stores will not sell games that have a MATURE or ADULTS ONLY rating to younger teens. « Less
