The city of Toledo is expected to receive $3 million in a federal grant to build a new fire station on the city's east end. The new fire house will be located at the corner of Fassett and Oak streets and will replace Fire Station No. 6 on Starr Avenue. The federal government, thought, will not foot the entire bill. The city will have to come up with about $750,000 for the project. The city purchased the land for the fire station in 2002.  « Less
