It's harvest season for farmers. As most gather vegetables and fruits, some are collecting extra produce to give it to those in need. Since this initiative first started, more farmers are hopping on board during tough times. Louise Wireman from The Center of Innovative Food Technology says her organization and the Society of St. Andrews, another non-profit have teamed up this year to help farmers glean the fields or collect surplus to give to those in need.  « Less
