The public is invited to join in the 8th annual Buddy Walk for the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Toledo, which is Sunday, Oct. 4, at the University of Toledo’s Rocket Hall. Rocket Hall is located on the corner of Dorr Street and Secor Road. The eight annual event is expected to draw over 1,000 participants, including those with Down Syndrome and their friends and families in a walk around a mile in length. Early registration takes place until Sept. 1. Preregistration is $10 for adults, $5 for children. After Sept. 1, including the date of the event, it’s $15 and $8.
