A humpback whale that washed ashore on Monmouth Beach will be laid to rest there, too. Officials with the Marine Mammal Stranding Center say the dead humpback will be buried at the beach on Tuesday. It's not clear what caused the whale's death or why it ended up on the shore on Monday. Dead whales wash up on the Jersey shore a couple times a year.  « Less
