As part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, construction got underway Monday morning on the Disalle Bridge on I-75 overlooking the Maumee River. The Ohio Department of Transportation began the process of replacing the entire deck of the bridge. For years pot holes have pot-marked the Disalle Bridge, but ODOT has not had the adequate funding to fix it properly until Washington DC lawmakers passed the latest economic stimulus bill.  « Less
