Plaintiffs in the case are Tiffany Habegger and Robin Kelly, both of Toledo; Brian Williams, Perrysburg; and Jason Rice, South Rockwood, Mich.

The college has confirmed all four currently are enrolled in the registered nursing program on the Perrysburg Township campus.

The suit, filed Thursday in Wood County Common Pleas Court, claims the college and its administrators knew for two years Owens was in jeopardy of losing its accreditation with the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission, and not only failed to take the necessary action to avert the loss, but also failed to advise students this fall that accreditation had been lost.</td></tr></table>

<media:text>to the courtroom, as some owens community mmcollege egstudents sue the school. it all centers around what's left of the school's nursing program. fox toledo's shaun hegarty is here live with a look at why the studentsare so upset. uthe nursing program at owens has lost its accreditation, meaning there are students in a program that they believe is basically useless and s won't hen'lp them get a job. now thosw e students are looking for some compensation. "they trusted owens, they relied on the word of owens and they feel betrayed." attorney chuck boyk is representing 4 students in the now, non accredited nursing program. "i think the students are enworried, they're d, upset and they're concerned with what they're going to d in the future." a couple of the students still have time to find new courses, but two graduate in december. and without the accreditation, they say they won't be able to get jobs and it's gebstoo late to transfer . "this kind of a bait and switch. owens promised the students a good education that had some value because there was accredidation." and for those who can transfer, they're finding that som e otheinr schools won't take them. owens vice provost says back in 2006-2007, the school was as notified that it need to adress two areas before the next accredidation. one of them was getting part time faculty working toward their masters in nursing. a report sent to the national league of ag nursing in the spring of this year did n't mention that was happening. ppso the accredia tion was pulled. "they didn'treveal the truth. it kinda appears because it was in their own self interest. owens should be ashamed of themselves." vice provost roscott says 13 adjunct professors in in a masters s program and 100 percent of full time faculty have a masters of science and nursing. shsays the first step in re-applying for that accreditation is already completed. and she says the school is approved with the ohio</media:text>

<media:text>>> we co>>ntinue to bering you our chat with "good morning m americ a's" robin roberts in thee final installment of our three-pa rt inreterview. robin shares wbiith us what madead it possi ble to go g public withic her battle with breast cancer.n >> even when they said to focus on h eron diagnosis, she said keeping quiet was out of thete question. how she took all hour life lessons and applied them to her life after being diagnosed withd breast cancer. >> we were more advanced that he we first thought, and i felt confident we cld beat it back, and then told that as a black woman, you're lessss likely to get it but more likely to die fromr it. i got on my knes and prays and my messagemy was make surake if you find itfit early, it happens at a younger and younger ayge so i channeled that energyat somewhere positive and it really het lped me. i ought i wa s going to help others and i w anted to help others that was my msomtivation, i was the one that was helped inn return and liftednd up and itt helped me get through a very, very difficult time in my life. >> you meant for a mammogram, doing your own breast exam, and that came up negative. >> right, it was fiitne. >> it was the ultra sound. >> right that detected the tumor. younger women, but it's true, and i knew this early on about myself and my family. our breast tisue is dense, it's very hard to read with the mammogram and that happens a lot with younger women, and so i'm so thankful my doctor, when he felt the lump and said, okay, get a mammogram and ultra sound, i never got an ultra sound at that point. i would only every gotten a mammogram and he was a new doctor, thank the lorhed, and it was like oh, yeah. and then i went in for the ultra sound and it was -- clear as a bell, i can reme, mber on the table and looking over and there was a screen and i was like i'm not a doctor but that doesn't look good an d it was over two sent meters, it was nice -- centimeters, itnt was a nice lile size. >> did you check your self regularly? >> yes. it is one of those thig s, hi'm telling you, it was not there that morning. i found it in the evening.ng i'm, like, it was so pronounced, but because i had done regnular exams, i knew when i fel, this is different. this is not the other. my mom es say we're lumpy people and i have found lumps and we all do and it goes on but when i felt it, i'm like, wow, it was harder, it was different. and because i knew my body, ii knew i couldn't wait. >> when you got to the point of reveal, this was it terrifying to you to take off the wig ogr reveal to the world here ise what you're going through, he gre is what i look like. >> yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. it was. it was terrifying. because it was unchartered territory. no one had ever done that before. no one had ever done that on live television. >> saw you the other day getti ng your may trex award with -- matrix a ward with yor beautiful bald head. she could wear this instead of the wig and that will get people talking. put this on there. >> i wish there was a rule book, something to say you should do this do that.th and i'm so bless we had kind of, we werewe or began wick it, whatever i -- we were organic with it, i took my cues from survivers, what they were going through through construction, can you discuss this or if i'm g oing through this, other people are. >> your bok,s that kind of to get your thoughts down oon papeor what you had gonen through withh your health or muruch more than that? >> when i released the bok, it i was prior to being diagnosed, seven rules to live by.y i was going around the country asking people and a couple months later i was diagnosed and boy, did i have to read my own book foams can you on the solution, not the problem. okay, focus on the treatment of this was later i was asked to write another book and i'm, like, you've got to be kiding me. cancer is noca more than a chapterh in my life's story, not my life's story. so i will add a chapter. seven is crossed out and have an 8th rule. make your mess your message. >> we wanted to save this last viewer question for the qr interview, because women all over the globe are in the same situation. robin is an inspiration, my mentor finished up sthe last round of chemo and had both breastsst removed and it wasn'tn' easy seeing he r go through this. tell h er thank you but does she have any words of wisdom she can pass along. >> no, i'm hum ble for her to even say that ti was any kind of help. this too, shall pas. be there for your frien d. when you are agoing through something likmee this, part of thee reason i almost didn't say anything, i didn't want to be looked at with a tilted head, wed, don't want to be pitied, we want you to understand and take your cue from us and be patient with us because we don't know what we're going through sometimes and the different things that -- it's a roller coaster, a roller coaster of emotions, but i would say to her friend, this too shall pass. it doesn't seitem that way right now. you're a little bit stronger than you think you are and thisd is just a chapter in your life story. tell her it is not hern life story, it is a chapterc. that's it. >> you get chills listening to that. and we want to thank the robin roberts organization, we've had them on the show tealk about breast density and diagnosing chancer is. >> and they attributes that to saving her life, feinding that breast tissue and she is talking about making sure you know your body as women no matter the age. there is not much testing for women under 40 and we're tryieng to get to a pointa to do thatth testing and it is important, those issues come up and if you're not familiafr withm curr e body. >>. she was able tob stick around and ta ke couple photos with us.s there is you are favorite. >> she did tease and saya dianen sawyer likes to take a fun picture so wpie take a aserious onie and then heyan, whee're kickin kg it with robin</media:text>

Video: AFD prepared for H1N1

<table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr valign="top"><td><a href="http://www.clipsyndicate.com/video/playlist/5895/1169343?cpt=8&wpid=3450"><img src="http://video-static.clipsyndicate.com/zStorage/clipsyndicate/15/2009/11/06/05/34/a4b34088-a428-4f39-8487-88e5ff0cbfae_120x90.jpg" width="120" height="90" border="0" /></a></td><td style="padding:5px;">If H1N1 hits the Albuquerque Fire Department hard, it could jeopardize their ability to get to residents in an emergency, but the department is offering vaccinations and making other preparations to prevent that from happening.

At all of the city's fire stations, it's all about extra gloves, masks, hand sanitizer, and vaccinations.

At the Albuquerque Fire Academy, more than a dozen cadets lined up Thursday for something that many firefighters are eager to get their hands on: the H1N1 vaccine and the seasonal flu vaccine.

The Albuquerque Fire Department got 600 doses of H1N1 vaccine for firefighters. So far, 300 have been vaccinated— it's not mandatory.

Over the past month, 24 firefighters have called in sick. Six had flu-like symptoms, and the rest to deal with sick family members.

There have been no confirmed H1N1 cases in the department, the number of sick firefighters is up.

Commander Tige Watson said, "The numbers have been slightly up, but it's not at a level that we feel there should be an alarm sounded."

Fire crews are taking extra precautions, however, stocking up on gloves, masks, and hand sanitizer.

Paramedic Driver Anthony Romero is concerned about dealing with patients.

"That's what all of this equipment is for," Romero said. "That's where we use the gloves, and masks, goggles sometimes."

Commander Watson said, "We have to remain concerned. We're trying to remain vigilant. We're hoping that we have seen the worst of it, but just like everyone else, we're not sure."

The World Health Organization says the H1N1 virus is now the main flu strain worldwide.

The WHO says in some countries, H1N1 accounts for up to 70% of the flu viruses being sampled.

The organization says the virus is mutating very little, and samples from around the world remain very similar to when the virus was first identified in April.</td></tr></table>
