There was some splishin' and splashin' going on today in Mandan. Central Dakota Humane Society with the help of Groomingdales...held it's 6th annual Rub-A-Dub Doggie Wash. Dogs small and large came in for a wash and dry. And by the afternoonover 50 dogs were treated to some special pampering. The money raised at the event goes straight to the shelter. (Sue Buchholz/Central Dakota Humane Society Director) The money just goes to support the shelter and care for, we have about 125 animals we care for every day so the money's just going to the general fund to help us buy food and pay for vet costs and things like that. Buchholz says the annual event isn't possible without the volunteers... (Sue Buchholz/Central Dakota Humane Society Director) It's really a fun event. If you don't mind getting a little wet. The Central Dakota Humane Society hosts fundraisers like this to continue their mission of helping pets in need find homes. « Less
