Hi, it's Thursday, May 8, 2008 and I'm Melisse Hinkle with your UPI Entertainment Update. Jason Castro is out on 'American Idol.' The Texas native was eliminated from the competition last night, after forgetting the words to Mr. Tambourine Man on Tuesday. David Archuleta, Syesha Mercado and David Cook will move on, singing three songs each and showing viewers their hometowns next week. Amy Winehouse is facing more legal trouble. The singer is out on bail after reportedly being arrested in London on Wednesday. The arrest is apparently connected to a video turned over to police earlier this year…which allegedly shows Winehouse engaging in illegal drug activity. Publicist Chris Goodman reportedly released a statement about the arrest, saying Winehouse went to the London police station willingly and is cooperating fully with inquiries. Meanwhile, DMX is reportedly up against reckless driving charges. The rapper was apparently arrested Tuesday for driving more than one hundred miles per hour in Arizona. Police report traffic cameras documented the recording artist speeding at three separate checkpoints back in January. DMX posted bail and was apparently released the same day. The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian is set to hit theaters on May 16. Tilda Swinton, Anna Popplewell and Ben Barnes all stepped out last night for the world premiere of their new film in New York. The movie is an adaptation of the second book in the Chronicles of Narnia series. A St. Louis exhibit called Monsters! is taking visitors inside the world of visual effects. Animatronics expert John Cox and his team show how full size creatures are created for movies.
