Beauty - Elegance - Individuality... this is what Nova Lorraine strives to achieve in each piece she designs. Nova started her career believing she would become a psychologist and after attending graduate school - she decided to follow her passion for art and enrolled in the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. Nova has always loved working with people and helping them in some way. Fashion has allowed her to combine her love for others with her passion for design. She also uses her training in psychology to create beautiful clothes that speak to one's personality and lifestyle. Her niche has been Made to Order Eveningwear and Custom Bridal. She has a signature line of brocade jackets and dresscoats that have been popular items in her Collection. Nova's customers seek a full experience when they shop and Nova has been successful at delivering very memorable ones with each purchase. Nova Lorraine is also very committed to educating women and young girls on the importance of finding their passions in life and building a strong inner self. This has led to the creation of Raine Magazine. A magazine committed to inspire women through fashion and empower them through business. The magazine is scheduled to be launched in 2006. Nova strongly believes in giving back and is actively involved with nonprofit organizations that also share a vision of education and empowerment such as the Junior League and The Links.
